The player and his Spanish girlfriend Maria Perello looked engrossed in each other’s company on Thursday as they sunbathed on the player’s luxury yacht with their arms wrapped around each other.

More than 100 people killed and 1,000 injured in clashes in Egypt (Pictures)

More than 100 people are believed to have been killed at a protest in support of Egypt's ousted President Mohammed Morsi.

Security forces are reported to have started shooting demonstrators shortly before pre-dawn morning prayers at a round-the-clock vigil in Cairo being staged by backers of Morsi, who was removed from power by the army three weeks ago.

Makeshift field hospitals around the area near the Rabaa al-Adawiya mosque were overwhelmed, with one doctor telling the BBC that more than 1,000 had been injured.

The state health ministry said 20 people had died and 177 suffered injuries.

Yerima Replies Critics Over Under Age Marriage

Controversial Senator, Ahmed Sani Yerima has reportedly fired back at the criticism that has trialed his objection to an earlier resolution of the Nigerian Senate to peg the age limit of marriage for women at 18.

The Senate had during the voting on constitutional amendment  voted to expunge section 29(4)b of the 1999 constitution that provides for what constitutes a full age, but the Senator after the voting has been concluded called for repeat of the vote which eventually allowed the section of the constitution to remain.

Xiao Bao needed more than 100 stitches after the incident in Xuzhou, eastern China's Jiangsu Province.

Doctors gave her a one per cent chance of survival when they found that her lungs had not developed properly.

Manchester United Begin Tour

Death related to the traditional circumcision in South Africa keeps increasing with another thirty people losing their lives at the weekend, a Cape Town health official has said.
Mr Mizwe Kupelo, Eastern Cape health department spokesman told journalists at a news conference on Sunday that  nearly 300 have been taken to various hospitals in the area.

10 killed in Alaska plane crash

An air taxi crashed Sunday at a small Alaska airport, killing all 10 people on board and leaving the aircraft fully engulfed in flames before firefighters could get to it, authorities said.

The de Havilland DHC3 Otter air taxi crashed just after 11 a.m. at the airport in Soldotna, a community about 75 miles southwest of Anchorage and located on the Kenai Peninsula.

"We do have 10 fatalities, unfortunately, nine passengers, one pilot," National Transportation Safety Board investigator Clint Johnson told The Associated Press.
